"Respondents want to work at democratically organized firms: Our results show that respondents are more likely to prefer to work at firms with workers on their corporate board, employee ownership programs, and direct election of management by 7, 10, and 4 percentage points respectively. Thus, we demonstrate that the lack of economic democracy is not because workers don’t prefer to work at these types of firms."
